Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a difference this summer by providing essential occupational therapy services to children from birth to age 3 in a supportive educational environment. This contract opportunity offers a unique chance to work closely with young children and their families, delivering critical early intervention and indirect services in a flexible, collaborative setting.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current and valid Occupational Therapy license in Minnesota (please attach with resume) Prior experience working with pediatric populations, especially birth-3, is highly preferred Understanding of school-based and early childhood OT practices Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with educational teams and families Ability to independently manage scheduling and documentation with flexibility Reliable transportation to conduct home/daycare visits as needed
Key Responsibilities:
Provide in-person OT services for infants and toddlers through scheduled home/daycare visits (approximately once monthly per client) Deliver indirect occupational therapy services for students ages 3-22, coordinating check-ins and support as required Accurately complete timely documentation for all visits, collaboration, and interventions in line with district requirements Adapt to a dynamic caseload and fluctuating weekly hours (estimated 3-8 hours per week, with some weeks lighter than others) Work within a multidisciplinary team to support student goals and family needs Respect and accommodate district scheduling requirements, including observed school breaks This summer contract role offers a rewarding blend of flexibility and purpose, allowing you to tailor your schedule while making a direct impact on children's development during critical early years.
