Occupational Therapist School Setting - Minneapolis, MN ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Minneapolis, MN Job Details Part-time | Contract $28.78 - $58.78 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Caseload management Master's degree School legal knowledge Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity calls for a dedicated Occupational Therapist skilled in school-based settings to support students' developmental and functional needs on a part-time basis. Located in Minneapolis, MN, this contract position offers the chance to positively impact children's education and daily living skills within a supportive school environment.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and provide therapeutic interventions for students to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, functional independence, and participation in school activities. Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and tailor services to student goals. Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes. Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies.
Qualifications:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based practice. Knowledgeable about educational laws, IDEA regulations, and best practices in pediatric occupational therapy. Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel. Ability to manage caseload efficiently and maintain organized documentation.
Position Details:
Part-time contract role, requiring availability 2-3 days per week. Immediate start date (ASAP). Located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, providing services on-site within the school setting.
