Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a school-based Occupational Therapist, supporting students' growth and success for the 2026-2027 school year in the Minneapolis area. Multiple openings are available:
Two full-time positions One long-term substitute position (covering the first couple of months; exact dates to be determined) Assignments begin September 8, 2026, and run through June 10, 2027. Each role offers 37.5 hours per week and provides the opportunity to support a caseload of approximately 20-40 students, each in a setting of four children. All responsibilities are within a single educational building for convenience and consistency, with potential rotation across several education centers.
Qualified candidates will have:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist Experience in a school setting preferred Ability to manage caseloads and develop IEPs Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators and families Commitment to creating inclusive, supportive environments Responsibilities in this position include: Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans Delivering therapy services to support student independence and engagement Documenting student progress in compliance with school and professional standards Collaborating with school staff and parents to meet students' unique needs Participating in IEP meetings as an integral team member This contract role lets you build valuable connections with students and staff in a dynamic learning environment.
