Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Achieve Health and Wellness is a progressive, developmental based neuro-specialty clinic located in Apple Valley, Northfield & Red Wing, MN. We treat pediatrics of all abilities and are looking to add a motivated Occupational Therapist to our team! Applicants must be confident in their therapy skills, and up-to-date on laws/regulations. Must have a license to practice in MN, or the ability to obtain one. Applicants have the opportunity to choose between a 4 or 5 day work week, to acquire their 40 hours. We look forward to hearing from you! Responsibilities Assess and evaluate patients' needs to develop individualized treatment plans. Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs). Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and discharge planning. Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and home exercises. Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, focusing on early intervention and rehabilitation. Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records. Summary As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you will provide specialized care to children, focusing on enhancing their ability to perform daily activities. Reporting to the Clinical Supervisor, you will utilize your core skills in patient care, physiology, and medical terminology to develop individualized treatment plans. Your skills in early intervention and working with children with disabilities will be essential in fostering their development.
