Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding school-based role for the 2026-2027 academic year as an Occupational Therapist supporting elementary-aged students in a vibrant educational community near Saint Paul, MN. Collaborate with a dedicated team of occupational therapy professionals to shape and share a caseload across elementary schools, ensuring each student receives individualized attention and support. This on-site, contract opportunity spans from August 17, 2026 through May 28, 2027, offering 37.5 hours of meaningful work each week.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Minnesota Occupational Therapist licensure required Previous school-based experience, particularly with elementary-aged students, is highly desirable Ability to collaborate effectively within a team to divide and manage caseloads Strong communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with students, staff, and families Adaptable and proactive approach to meeting diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in elementary settings Participate in pre-school-year team meetings to divide caseloads and determine school assignments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize student outcomes Document progress, maintain compliance, and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings
