Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding short-term contract providing occupational therapy services for expanded summer coverage. This role involves supporting a caseload ranging from infants to young adults, with a primary focus on children ages birth to three. Coverage runs from June 15 to July 24 with flexibility built in—work is school-based and delivered primarily on-site, alongside some travel for home or daycare visits. Your professional expertise will deliver essential indirect services to students aged 3-22, with check-ins that can be accommodated within your preferred weekly hours—generally between 3 and 5 hours. For the birth-to-three population, expect to conduct monthly visits with a multidisciplinary team, supporting four to five infants or toddlers. Some weeks may require as few as 2 hours while others could extend up to 8, so adaptability is key. Please note, there will be no school activity on June 19 and during the week of June 29 to July 3.
Qualifications:
Active Minnesota Occupational Therapist license (must be submitted with resume) Previous experience providing OT services in educational or pediatric settings Understanding of indirect service delivery models across diverse age groups Confidence managing a flexible, variable schedule and travel for home visits Excellent documentation and communication skills
