Responsibilities:
 Winona Area Public Schools is seeking candidates to fill a extended school year Occupational Therapist position in our District Wide Special Education programs. The occupational therapist is responsible for conducting fine motor and sensory screening s and evaluations; designing an educational program and transition planning; and providing therapeutic intervention for students who are suspected of having a disability that interferes with fine motor and daily living skills. As a member of the educational team, the occupational therapist supports students in achieving educational goals and encouraging independence in the least restrictive environment. The person hired by the Winona Area Public Schools for this position is expected to analyze risk, problem-solve with team members in recommending and designing programming and making environmental modifications. The occupational therapist will be involved in direct supervision of support personnel.
Qualifications:
