Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into an impactful opportunity supporting students as an Occupational Therapist for a school-based contract position covering a maternity leave. This role, beginning October 26th, 2026, and continuing through March 29th, 2027, allows you to make a difference while enjoying the flexibility of either onsite or virtual work arrangements. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional occupational therapy services, supporting student growth and helping them achieve academic and functional success. As part of your role, you will also provide supervision to a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), offering guidance and fostering professional growth within the team.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current license as an Occupational Therapist Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred Expertise in evaluations, IEP development, and implementing tailored therapy plans Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Ability to supervise and mentor a COTA effectively Technological proficiency to deliver remote services if working virtually

Assess students' needs and develop individualized intervention plans Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to integrate therapy into students' routines Monitor progress and adjust interventions, maintaining thorough documentation Supervise and support the daily activities of a COTA working onsite or virtually Participate in team meetings and contribute to positive student outcomes This contract position is perfect for OTs seeking a dynamic role with an established caseload and supportive environment.
