- Position Responsibilities
- + Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students qualifying for OT as a related service + Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students experiencing deficits impacting academic performance + Interpret evaluation findings and recommendations to parents, staff, and IEP teams + Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy programs aligned with student IEP goals + Provide individual and group therapy services in educational settings + Participate as an active member of multidisciplinary and IEP teams + Collaborate with teachers, specialists, paraprofessionals, and families to support student success and classroom carryover + Monitor student progress and modify interventions as appropriate + Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, IEP goals/objectives, and required reports + Train and support educational staff, therapy assistants, and paraprofessionals in implementing therapy strategies + Order and maintain therapy materials and equipment while following accepted safety practices + Stay current with best practices in school-based occupational therapy + Perform additional duties as assigned by district leadership or Special Services administration •Qualifications•+ Active Missouri Occupational Therapist License + Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy + Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred, but not required + Strong communication and collaboration skills + Ability to maintain compliant documentation and manage caseload responsibilities + Required state and district clearances •About Kelly Pediatric Therapy•_Backed by the strength and stability of Kelly Services, Kelly Pediatric Therapy is a leading provider of school-based therapy and related services nationwide.
