Key Qualifications:
Hold a current Missouri Occupational Therapy (OT) license. Demonstrated experience in a school-based OT setting and familiarity with working across elementary and secondary grades (K-12). Comfortable with significant local travel between multiple school buildings. Ability to manage a weekly caseload totaling 600 service minutes. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for partnering with educational staff, students, and families.Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students as part of ESY (June 1-25), Monday through Thursday. Travel between multiple education buildings to deliver scheduled therapy sessions. Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy strategies to support each student's educational goals. Document student progress and maintain required records in compliance with district and state guidelines. Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, as needed. Potential opportunity to extend coverage for the first few weeks of the new school year in August/September. This part-time contract position involves approximately 22-25 hours per week, offering a unique schedule that supports work-life balance.
