Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a real difference in the lives of students by providing essential occupational therapy services in a supportive school environment. Opportunity available for a dedicated and collaborative Occupational Therapist to work with a diverse caseload of students ages 3 through 18, spanning mild to moderate needs. This contract position will run from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027 (inclusive of ESY), and will involve coverage across three welcoming school sites near Lathrop and Gower, MO. You'll bring your expertise in fine motor skills, teletherapy, and school-based interventions to contribute to each child's confidence and independence. The role calls for seven and a half hours per day, three days a week, offering flexibility within a structured schedule. Earn between $40 and $52 per hour while enjoying meaningful work and professional growth.
Qualifications:
Certified Occupational Therapist (OT), or eligible to supervise with a COTA on-site Prior experience providing therapy in a school or pediatric setting Competency in addressing fine motor skills, pediatric OT needs, and teletherapy Effective communicator with students, staff, and families Knowledgeable in working with mixed caseloads spanning mild to moderate need Strong organizational skills to manage schedules across three locations
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver hands-on and teletherapy OT services supporting diverse student needs Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to promote student achievement Supervise and mentor COTA as needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation
