Unknown Responsibilities Evaluate residents' functional abilities, including Activities of Daily Living, mobility, cognition, and psychosocial factors Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans based on evaluations and physician orders Provide direct OT services in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility policies Monitor and document resident progress; adjust treatment plans as needed to meet goals Educate residents, families, and caregivers on strategies to promote safety and independence Supervise and provide direction to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and therapy aides as appropriate Ensure accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team; participate in care planning meetings Maintain licensure and continuing education requirements as mandated by state regulations Support quality improvement initiatives and comply with CMS and facility guidelines Requirements Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice Prior SNF or geriatric rehabilitation experience preferred Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Benefits and Support Assignment and travel support provided by Healthforce Healthcare LLC Dedicated recruiter to assist with the travel contract and start date Assistance with licensure and credentialing as needed Guidance on CMS and facility policy compliance throughout the assignment Find more opportunities If this role isn't a perfect match, explore other Occupational Therapy openings with Healthforce Healthcare LLC at https://healthforce.applytojob.
