Job Description

Occupational Therapist (OTR) Responsibilities Treat patients by using therapeutic and self-care activities designed to improve function Monitor a patient's activities to make sure they are performing them correctly and to offer encouragement Contribute to meetings and case conferences to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care plans for patients Document patient's weekly progress in appropriate records Maintain the office treatment areas, equipment, and supply inventory Instruct patients, their families and any other caregivers in skills and techniques of the patient's treatment program Maintain valid certification from the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and a valid Occupational Therapist state license (where applicable).
