This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative, resident-centered environment where clinical excellence, consistency, and compassionate care are top priorities. As part of our in-house therapy department, you'll work alongside an experienced interdisciplinary team with the support and autonomy to deliver meaningful, patient-focused care—without the pressures often associated with contract therapy models.
Position Highlights:
In-house rehab Negotiable and Competitive Rates Collaborative and supportive clinical team Opportunity to directly impact residents' independence and daily function Stable schedule with continuity of care
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans Provide skilled OT services in a skilled nursing setting Address activities of daily living (ADLs), upper extremity function, cognition, and safety awareness Train residents in adaptive techniques and use of assistive equipment Document evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with regulatory and facility standards Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to support resident goals Participate in care plan and discharge planning meetings Promote quality outcomes while maintaining ethical, evidence-based practice If you are an Occupational Therapist who values autonomy, teamwork, and a culture that prioritizes both residents and clinicians, we would love to connect with you about this opportunity at Manhattan Community Care Center.
