Job Description

Overview Occupational Therapist, Acute Care travel assignment in Billings, Montana. Start date 07/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed 36 hours per week with a typical 40-hour schedule. Weekly pay range of $1,883-$2,029. This position is in a skilled nursing facility setting and supports acute-care needs in a travel capacity.

Setting:
Skilled nursing facility with acute care duties Responsibilities Evaluate residents with acute care needs and develop individualized OT plans of care. Implement therapeutic interventions to improve functional mobility, activities of daily living, cognition, and endurance. Document assessments, progress notes, and quarterly or as-needed updates in the medical record. Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and case management teams; participate in care planning and rounds. Provide family and caregiver education to support discharge planning and ongoing progress after return to home or alternate setting. Requirements Active Occupational Therapist license in Montana or eligibility to practice in Montana. Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent) from an accredited program. Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload in a SNF/acute care-related setting and meet documentation standards. Willingness to travel and participate in a temporary assignment.
