Job Description

Overview Occupational Therapist - Acute Care (Travel) in a long-term care setting in Glendive, Montana, United States. This 13-week assignment starts on 06/22/2026, with guaranteed 36 hours per week on dayshift. Weekly pay ranges from $2,106 to $2,174. This travel temporary assignment involves working in a skilled nursing facility and delivering comprehensive rehabilitative services to residents.

Long-term care / skilled nursing facility Responsibilities Conduct initial and ongoing occupational therapy assessments to determine functional limitations and rehab goals for residents. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve activities of daily living, mobility, balance, safety, and independence. Provide targeted OT interventions, using therapeutic activities, adaptive equipment, splints, and assistive devices as appropriate. Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge planning in compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, physical therapy, speech therapy, social work, and case management) to coordinate care and transitions of care. Ensure patient safety and adherence to infection control, safety protocols, and documentation standards during all treatment sessions.
