Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - OT Job Type Travel Experience the charm of Plentywood, MT, a welcoming community set against the striking backdrop of Big Sky Country. Traveling to this corner of Montana promises more than a refreshing change of scenery—it's a valuable opportunity to broaden your professional horizons through both rich clinical experience and immersion in a close-knit healthcare setting. With a population of just over 4,000, you'll play a key role in delivering essential therapies for local residents and neighboring regions, including rural areas of Canada and North Dakota. Be part of a busy therapy department supporting a full spectrum of out-patient and in-patient services. Alongside highly skilled colleagues, you'll engage with patients through a diverse array of rehab programs, such as hydrotherapy, pelvic health therapy, dry needling, LSVT Big and Loud, pain management, and pediatric interventions. Enhance your clinical repertoire while gaining exposure to modern technology and innovative practices, all while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team of physicians, NPs, PAs, and social workers.
Schedule/Hours:
Travel-based assignment (exact schedule details provided during interview)
Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility in Montana) Previous experience in a hospital or clinical therapy setting preferred Ability to work independently and adapt to rural healthcare demands Dedication to delivering patient-centered therapy across lifespan and conditions
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality occupational therapy to inpatients, outpatients, local schools, and clients needing home visits Develop and implement individualized care plans for orthopedic, neurological, developmental, and musculoskeletal cases Collaborate effectively with rehab team and other healthcare providers Document patient progress and outcomes according to facility guidelines Contribute to facility-driven efforts to expand access and improve care for the rural community
