1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment at a rural, not-for-profit hospital in Plentywood, Montana, offering both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services. Details Rehabilitation therapy setting within a rural, not-for-profit critical access hospital in Plentywood, Montana Busy therapy department offering both inpatient and outpatient services Patient population includes orthopedic, neurological, musculoskeletal, and developmentally delayed pediatric cases Facility includes acute care (19 licensed beds), long-term care (35 beds), and a full-service Rural Health Clinic Rehab services available include Physical & Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Hydrotherapy, Pelvic Health Therapy, Dry Needling, LSVT Big and Loud Program, and Pain Management Services also extend to local school visits and home care visits Day shift schedule Requirements Current, active Occupational Therapist license required if applicable Current BLS certification required Experience in a rural hospital or similar setting preferred Occupational therapy experience with diverse patient populations including orthopedic, neurological, and pediatric cases Additional Information The facility is the sole medical provider in Sheridan County, serving a population of approximately 4,100 residents across Montana, North Dakota, and parts of Canada Works alongside an interdisciplinary team including MDs, FNPs, PAs, an LCSW, and consulting specialists in radiology, orthopedics, podiatry, and surgery The facility will assist in securing housing for the duration of the assignment — candidates are encouraged to reach out for housing support DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
