We provide person-centered services that promote independence, dignity, and quality of life in community-based and residential settings.
Position Contract Licensed Occupational Therapist Hours:
10-20 hours per month

Flexible, based on program needs
Travel Required:
Yes — travel to service sites in Asheville, Mars Hill, and Swannanoa, NC is required We are seeking a Contract Licensed Occupational Therapist to provide clinical consultation and support for individuals served by BlueWest Opportunities. Key Responsibilities Conduct functional occupational therapy evaluations Complete clinical documentation and progress notes Develop individualized plans focused on: Daily living and adaptive skills Sensory integration needs Adaptive equipment and assistive technology use Train and support direct care staff on individual needs and interventions Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support individualized outcomes Requirements Current and active Occupational Therapy license Experience working with individuals with IDD preferred Strong communication, documentation, and training skills Ability to work independently in a contract/consultative role Ability to travel to multiple service sites as required Schedule & Compensation Approximately 10-20 hours per month Flexible scheduling This role supports BlueWest Opportunities' mission of enhancing independence, functional skills, and overall quality of life for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
