6 Greensboro, NC Job Details PRN 5 hours ago Qualifications BLS Certification Bachelor's degree Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description The Occupational Therapist evaluates patient's conditions, plans, organizes, and participates in rehabilitative programs that facilitates return to optimal functional abilities, improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and decrease or prevent deformity of patients suffering from disease or injury, including patient and family education. This position implements care plans using evidence-based modalities and skilled interventions to increase patients' ability to achieve mutually established functional goals. This position monitors and evaluates outcomes related to the assessment and plan of care. The Occupational Therapist I requires guidance and mentoring for completion of the essential job functions.
Essential Job Function:
Assists in evaluations of patients' physical abilities, medical history, and functional limitations to develop individualized treatment plans. Administers therapeutic exercises and other occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and range of motion. Educates patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercises, and self-management techniques to improve recovery outcomes. Collaborates with other in developing and implementing discharge plans and recommendations for continued care and may require some guidance from other team members. Monitors and documents patients' progress, treatment outcomes, and responses to interventions so that treatment plans can be adjusted as needed. Collaborates on teams from different departments to ensure coordinated patient care and holistic treatment outcomes. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.

Licensed by the North Carolina Occupational Therapy Board; BLS (CPR
  • American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
