Job Description:
The Occupational Therapist (OT) evaluates and treats patients to help them develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working. This role involves creating individualized care plans and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver effective therapy services.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and sensory abilities Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide therapeutic interventions to improve daily functioning Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and adaptive techniques Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals Ensure adherence to all regulatory and ethical standards
Requirements:
Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current, active Occupational Therapist license in North Carolina (issued by the North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy) NBCOT certification (or eligibility) Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
