Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in Occupational Therapy to a supportive school environment in the Lillington, NC area. Qualifications & Experience:
Active and valid NC Occupational Therapist (OTR) license required Experience working in educational or pediatric settings preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Commitment to fostering an inclusive, nurturing environment Flexibility to potentially cover multiple needs as required
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings Complete thorough evaluations to identify students' needs and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to support classroom participation and student success Document evaluations, interventions, and progress in compliance with school and state guidelines Provide recommendations for adaptive tools, classroom modifications, and skills improvement Consult with families and school staff regarding strategies for student support
