Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) - Salisbury, NC Exciting opportunity to join the largest pediatric therapy team in the Carolinas, Pediatric Advanced Therapy - A Division of Joybridge Kids. Join our clinical team and use your passion for Occupational Therapy to help make a difference in a child's life! We have an extremely skilled and dedicated staff with a team-oriented approach to therapy. We are currently seeking a full-time OR part-time pediatric occupational therapist to provide clinic based occupational therapy at our Salisbury, NC clinic located at 529 West Innes Street. Analyze information to address foundational deficits causing difficulties with skill development. Provide Occupational Therapy sessions through the use of current best practices Collaborate with families and caregivers in the clinic and throughout the community while supporting the family's daily routines. Maintain all documentation as dictated by county and state guidelines Adhere to frequency, duration, and appropriate treatment guidelines Address goals and provide treatment in a way that supports sensory-motor, cognitive, psychological, self-help, fine and gross motor skills, play, and behavioral development. Modify treatment goals as needed, on appropriate forms in a timely manner. Document family/caregiver involvement and training as indicated. Work collaboratively with a variety of professionals, age groups, cultures, families, and socioeconomic groups Follow AOTA and other research-based guidelines to evaluate and treat pediatric patients. Education, Experience and Certifications Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy required. NC license for Occupational Therapy required. Our Ideal Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) Candidate Passionate about pediatrics. Desire to be an evidence-based clinician. Enthusiasm about a child-led approach using play and intrinsic motivation. Understanding of Ayres Sensory Integration, Floortime, SOS Feeding and ocular motor deficits. Physical Demands Employee should be able to transfer patients and perform treatments in the clinic. Employee should be knowledgeable in and exercise good body mechanics during patient treatment. Employee should be able to lift 30 lbs. Job Type:
Full-time OR Part-time Salaried pay range (Full-time): $60,000-70,000 (based on experience)
Pay-per-visit:
$43.00 - $50.00 per hour (based on experience) - Compensation option available to full-time and part-time employees.
