Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR) in the Lillington, NC area. This school-based role offers the chance to help children reach their fullest potential in academic and functional skills, all while collaborating with dedicated professionals. The assignment runs from August 11, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with full-time hours at 37.5 per week.
Key Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license in North Carolina required Experience in school-based OT highly preferred Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills Comfortable managing a diverse caseload, potentially across multiple schools Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other therapists
Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students Deliver direct therapy and consultation services as outlined in IEPs Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise on students' functional needs Flexibly support multiple school sites as needed This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in dynamic environments and wish to positively impact the lives of children and young people in educational settings.
