Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Embark on an enriching contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist serving school-aged students in the Lillington, NC region. This role runs from August 11, 2026, through May 21, 2027, offering a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours. You'll collaborate with dedicated professionals to provide vital therapy services that support student success and independence within the educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
Current and active Occupational Therapy license in North Carolina Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress documentation Excellent communication and organizational abilities Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and adapt to varying student needs Open to both individual and group service delivery formats
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students as outlined in IEPs Complete assessments, create intervention plans, and maintain thorough documentation Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to foster a supportive learning environment Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional recommendations Support students in achieving their goals for academic, functional, and social participation Ensure compliance with all district, state, and federal guidelines
