Opportunity:
Magnolia Gardens Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our compassionate team. In this role, you'll help patients regain their independence and quality of life while collaborating with an amazing team that supports your growth and professional development. Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and develop personalized treatment plans for patients based on physician referrals. Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, ensuring treatment aligns with functional, goal-driven outcomes. Supervise therapy assistants, rehab techs, and students to ensure quality care delivery. Document all services and progress notes per regulatory and professional guidelines. Educate patients, families, and nursing staff on restorative techniques and home programs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care planning and smooth discharge transitions. Maintain productivity standards while demonstrating excellent knowledge of Medicare and insurance reimbursement practices. Actively participate in performance improvement programs, staff in-services, and continuing education. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming therapy environment by assisting with equipment maintenance and department needs. Flexibility to float between nearby facilities if needed (travel reimbursement provided!). Why Join Magnolia Gardens? What We're Looking For:
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Current Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility) in the state of North Carolina. Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills. Positive, patient-first attitude with a commitment to teamwork. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist patients safely during therapy sessions. Willingness to work flexible hours and travel locally if needed.
Work Environment:
You'll work in bright, clean therapy spaces with a dynamic, supportive team. You'll encounter a variety of patient needs—no two days are exactly the same! Expect occasional interruptions and interactions with patients, families, and staff from all departments.
