1 Description American Traveler is hiring a licensed Occupational Therapist with outpatient experience for a 13-week travel contract at a regional medical center, utilizing Epic EMR. Details Outpatient occupational therapy setting at a regional medical center Day shift, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday Patient population spans all age groups including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics Caseload includes ADLs, sensorimotor, perceptual-motor, educational, recreational, and social activities Swingbed patient assessments included as part of the caseload Home health and contracted facility therapy services may be required
EMR:
Epic (experience required); Medication system: Omnicell Saturday and Sunday off Requirements Active OT license required if applicable Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist M.S. or B.S. degree in Occupational Therapy required Current NBCOT registration required Current BLS certification required ND state licensure required Additional Information Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized OT programs to restore physical and/or mental functioning Design, fabricate, and fit adaptive devices such as splints and braces Conduct work site analyses and provide ergonomic assessment reports with recommendations Supervise Rehab Aides, COTA, students, and Rehab Secretary/Aide as needed Participate in training medical and nursing personnel in OT techniques and objectives Works under the supervision of the Rehab Manager within established department policies Required online modules must be completed prior to start Travelers with previous employment at this facility must disclose it for a DNU check Local candidates are accepted for this position
