Nelson School is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team for the upcoming academic year (2026-2027). This is a 15% position, ideal for a professional seeking a flexible schedule while supporting student success. The primary goal of this role is to help students overcome environmental barriers and develop the functional skills necessary to thrive in an educational setting.
Assessment:
Evaluate students' functional physical development and self-regulation levels.
IEP Development:
Collaborate on Individual Education Plans (IEP) to set achievable student goals.
Treatment Planning:
Implement targeted interventions to meet specific objectives.
Accessibility:
Identify environmental barriers and provide recommendations for school-wide accessibility.
Supervision:
Provide professional direction and guidance to Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistants (LOTAs). Qualifications
Licensure:
Must hold a valid New Hampshire Occupational Therapist License or be eligible for immediate licensure.
Expertise:
