Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a vital role supporting students during the 2026 Extended School Year (ESY) session. This contract opportunity calls for an experienced Occupational Therapist who is passionate about fostering student development within a collaborative school environment. In this position, you'll work Monday through Thursday, from 8 am to 12 pm, between July 6 and July 31. Your primary focus will be delivering occupational therapy services to students with disabilities as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). This summer role is ideal for professionals who enjoy focused, impactful work with small caseloads and value meaningful collaboration.
What You'll Do:
Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy support per student IEPs Implement evidence-based strategies to develop fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care abilities Document session notes, progress, and service logs in accordance with district and legal requirements Work closely with special education staff, related service providers, and families for seamless student support Adapt materials and activities to meet individualized student needs in school or community settings
