Qualifications:
Active state licensure in Occupational Therapy. Proven experience delivering occupational therapy in a school setting. In-depth knowledge of IDEA and the IEP process. Exceptional collaboration and communication skills. Ability to adapt interventions for individual student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative OT services aligned with each student's IEP during the ESY (Extended School Year) summer session. Administer evidence-based interventions to enhance fine motor, sensory, self-care, and functional abilities. Maintain thorough documentation of all sessions and student progress in accordance with school and legal standards. Work collaboratively with special education professionals, other service providers, and families. Modify activities and materials to best support students in classroom and community-based environments.
