Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract A full-time Occupational Therapist is sought for a contract position within a school setting, providing services for the 2026/2027 academic year. The assignment begins August 26th, 2026, and concludes on June 16th, 2027, offering 37.5 hours per week working with students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. Key responsibilities include delivering direct occupational therapy services, conducting evaluations, offering consultation to staff and families, and completing Medicaid documentation. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining IEP goals and progress reports to support student achievement and compliance with educational standards.
Desired experience and skills:
Certified Occupational Therapist with valid licensure Experience in school-based occupational therapy, including consultation and evaluation Familiarity with Medicaid documentation requirements Ability to develop and monitor IEP goals and produce accurate progress reports Strong communication skills and collaborative approach to working with educators, families, and healthcare professionals Experience across a range of student ages, from preschool to high school Comfortable with teletherapy and home health settings is a plus, but primary focus is school-based services
