Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An exciting opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support students from PreK through 12th grade during the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time contract position offers a rewarding experience working within a school environment in Swanzey, NH, providing essential services that enhance student development and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct occupational therapy services tailored to students' individual needs Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine student eligibility and program planning Collaborate with educators and families through ongoing consultation Develop and update IEP goals and progress reports to meet compliance standards Maintain Medicaid documentation and other necessary records with accuracy and timeliness
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school settings Proven ability to work with a diverse student population from PreK to 12th grade Skilled in providing direct services, consultation, and thorough documentation Familiarity with IEP development and progress reporting Strong understanding of Medicaid billing requirements in educational environments This role begins on August 26th, 2026, and concludes on June 16th, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, aligning with the academic calendar.
