Occupational Therapist Physical Therapy- Clifton Clifton, NJ Job Details Part-time | Per diem $50 - $60 an hour 10 hours ago Qualifications Anatomy knowledge Pediatric occupational therapy Outpatient Assisting with ADLs Medical terminology Full Job Description Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Occupational Therapist and make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life! Our clinic specializes in individual one on one care with an emphasis on quality over quantity. Duties Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine patients' functional abilities and develop tailored care plans that address their unique needs. Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility, fostering independence and confidence. Implement therapeutic interventions for diverse populations Coordinate discharge planning and case management to ensure seamless transitions from hospital to home or other care environments. Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques, adaptive equipment use, and strategies for ongoing support. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and medical records in compliance with healthcare standards. Experience Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology essential for accurate assessment and treatment planning. Prior experience in outpatient clinics is highly desirable. Ability to develop comprehensive care plans that include assistive device recommendations and discharge strategies aligned with patient goals. We look forward to having you join our growing team!
