You will build skills in outpatient orthopedics, upper extremity rehab, and functional performance that most OTs never access, regardless of where they trained. Weekly direct mentorship with senior clinicians Hands-on orthopedic and sports rehab skill development Exposure to functional performance and movement-based treatment Designed specifically for new grads and career-changers One-on-one patient care model — no high-volume factory approach Pathway to specialty program development as you grow Who We Are Looking For You are: Energetic, compassionate, and patient-centered A strong communicator who works well on a team Open to learning outpatient orthopedics — even if it is new to you Driven by a growth mindset and a desire to improve your craft Excited about orthopedics, upper extremity rehab, sports, or functional movement Bonus if you have experience with: Hand and wrist conditions Post-surgical rehabilitation Sports-related upper extremity injuries Ergonomics or workplace injury management Neurological rehabilitation Functional movement-based treatment approaches Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic and functional impairments Develop individualized, goal-driven treatment plans Collaborate with PTs and other providers on integrated care plans Educate patients on recovery strategies and injury prevention Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Build strong patient relationships that drive outcomes and retention Contribute to clinic culture, team learning, and overall patient experience Qualifications Licensed Occupational Therapist in New Jersey (or license-eligible) New graduates strongly encouraged to apply Outpatient experience preferred but not required — our residency program is built for this transition Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to patient care Compensation & Benefits $75,000•$90,000 base salary (commensurate with experience) $75,000 for new graduates $90,000 for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience Performance bonus opportunities Continuing education support Flexible scheduling options Structured one-year mentorship residency program Growth opportunities across the organization Collaborative, supportive team culture Why Clifton Physical Therapy?
