Occupational Therapist Position Summary To administer occupational therapy evaluations and treatments according to established standard of occupational therapy, and physician's referral and occupational therapy plan of care. Primary Position Responsibilities 1. Evaluates all patients identifying the patient's primary problems and develops a treatment plan. 2. Performs and modifies/updates patient treatment programs to maximize patient outcomes. 3. Documents information to assure continuity of care and maximize reimbursement. 4. Maintains schedule to attain productivity standards. 5. Provides supervision to
COTA, OT/COTA
students, various levels of supportive personnel and volunteers. Work Contact Group (Internal/External) Patients, physicians, families, nursing service, visitors, frequent contact with employees of other departments. Reporting Relationships Reports to (position):
- Director of Physical/Occupational Therapy (indirect)
- Clinical Coordinator (direct)
- Senior Occupational Therapist (direct) Supervises (position(s): OT Students; Patient Service Representative; Rehab Aide/Receptionist; Volunteers (indirect)

2 years experience in hand therapy
