Occupational Therapist Job Summary:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in improving the quality of life for individuals with various physical and mental health conditions.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional condition to determine their specific needs and goals. 2. Develop personalized treatment plans to help patients achieve their desired outcomes. 3. Assist patients in improving their ability to perform daily activities, such as dressing, cooking, and bathing. 4. Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address patients' unique needs and challenges. 5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients. 6. Monitor and track patients' progress throughout their treatment to make necessary adjustments to their therapy plan. 7. Educate patients and their families on techniques and strategies to improve their functional abilities. 8. Maintain accurate and thorough records of patients' assessments, treatments, and progress.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. 2. Valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist. 3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 4. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. 5. Proficiency in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans. 6. Experience working with individuals of all ages and abilities. 7.
