• Part-Time Orthopedic Rehab Job Overview Active Sport & Spine Therapy is seeking a motivated and patient-focused Occupational Therapist to join our growing multidisciplinary rehabilitation team in Little Falls, NJ .

We are looking for an OT who is passionate about orthopedic rehabilitation, functional movement, quality patient care, and helping people return to the activities that matter most . This position is ideal for someone who wants to work in a collaborative outpatient setting where patients are treated with individualized attention — not a high-volume, cookie-cutter approach. Our clinic provides a truly integrated model of care that includes physical therapy, chiropractic care, acupuncture, manual therapy, corrective exercise, sports rehabilitation, dry needling, shockwave therapy, cupping, and recovery-based services . As part of our team, you will work alongside other providers who are committed to communication, clinical reasoning, and strong patient outcomes. We are specifically seeking an orthopedic-focused Occupational Therapist . While upper extremity and hand-related cases may be part of the role, this position is not limited to hand therapy only. We are looking for someone who is interested in treating a broader orthopedic and musculoskeletal population, including post-operative patients, sports injuries, work-related injuries, motor vehicle accident cases, chronic pain, postural dysfunction, and functional limitations affecting daily life. Room to grow clinically and professionally as the OT program develops Responsibilities Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and functional limitations Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals, objective findings, functional needs, and clinical presentation Treat patients with upper extremity injuries, post-operative conditions, sports injuries, work-related injuries, auto accident injuries, chronic pain, postural dysfunction, weakness, mobility limitations, and ADL-related impairments Incorporate therapeutic exercise, manual therapy techniques, neuromuscular re-education, functional training, ADL training, ergonomic education, postural correction, and return-to-work strategies Collaborate with physical therapy, chiropractic, and acupuncture providers to support coordinated patient care Educate patients on home exercise programs, activity modification, injury prevention, ergonomics, and long-term functional improvement Complete documentation in a timely, accurate, and professional manner Contribute to the continued development and growth of the OT program within the practice Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, personable, and passionate about helping patients improve function and quality of life. You may be a strong fit if you: Have a strong interest in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation Enjoy treating more than only hand or upper extremity cases Value individualized patient care and clinical reasoning Communicate well with patients, staff, and other healthcare providers Are motivated to grow clinically and professionally Enjoy working with active adults, athletes, post-operative patients, auto accident patients, and work-related injury patients Want to help build and expand an OT program inside a growing multidisciplinary practice Take pride in providing high-quality care and creating a positive patient experience Requirements Current Occupational Therapist license in the State of New Jersey Orthopedic, outpatient, sports rehab, post-operative, hand therapy, or musculoskeletal experience preferred New graduates with a strong interest in orthopedic rehabilitation are welcome to apply Strong communication, documentation, and patient-care skills Must be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays Wednesday evening availability is a plus Compensation Pay range is $45
