Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity awaits a dedicated Occupational Therapist eager to make a difference in students' lives through school-based services. In this contract role, you will provide essential occupational therapy interventions for learners on a welcoming campus near Skillman, NJ. You'll work closely with students and educational staff to help children develop or regain independence in their daily routines and classroom participation. This position is designed for those who thrive in flexible, impactful assignments, providing OT services six times per month for 25-minute sessions. Leverage your specialized skill set in both school and home health environments to empower children to reach their fullest potential. What you'll bring: Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist Solid experience working as an OT in school settings (K-12 preferred) Familiarity or experience with home health OT a plus Strong communication skills, both with students and multidisciplinary teams Passion for helping children overcome physical, developmental, or cognitive challenges Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Delivering occupational therapy sessions as outlined in students' IEPs Developing creative, individualized treatment plans to support educational goals Collaborating with teachers and parents to monitor and support student progress Documenting all sessions and maintaining accurate student records as required Consulting with school staff to adapt the learning environment and promote accessibility Soliant enhances your experience by offering weekly pay and guaranteed hours, so you can focus on what you do best—supporting students.
