Fine Motor Skills Gross Motor Skills Occupational Therapist School Setting in New Milford, NJ ProCare Therapy - 3.9 New Milford, NJ Job Details Contract $37.84 - $67.84 an hour 13 hours ago Qualifications Master's degree Full Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current Occupational Therapist license in New Jersey (or eligibility) Prior experience with school-based OT services strongly preferred Background in home health and teletherapy OT interventions desirable Expertise in evaluating and addressing fine and gross motor skill development Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy strategies Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students' functional abilities and create tailored therapy plans Implement evidence-based interventions to support academic and functional success Provide services both in-person within schools and remotely via teletherapy as needed Deliver home health OT visits when required, maintaining high standards of care Consult with teachers, families, and other multidisciplinary team members Track progress, adjust goals, and maintain compliance with required documentation This contract role provides the flexibility and variety you desire—serving students through multiple channels and making a tangible difference in their educational journey.
