MAJOR FUNCTION

Systematically evaluates the strengths, needs, preferences, and challenges of infants and children, in collaboration with the family, as part of a NJ Early Intervention Team. Collaborates with family and other Individual Family Service Plan Team Members to develop an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) which incorporates family priorities/concerns, clinical observation, and evaluation/assessment data to develop child and family outcomes. Implements evidenced-based instructional practices in the child's natural environment. Provides education, resources, and coaching to clients, family, caregivers, and health care professionals to promote and maintain health and well-being.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience:

Minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college/university. Preferably, at least one year of documented professional experience with individuals from birth to five years of age who have developmental delays and disabilities. Use of Evidence Based Practice in providing NJEIS Services Competent in use of HIPPA Compliant Technology and Web-based applications

Certification/ Licensure:

Licensed Occupational Therapist, State of New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety, Division of Consumer Affairs, Occupational Therapy Advisory Council. Physical Requirements Place an N, O, F or C in the boxes below
