Up to $128,000 per year Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, emotional, and functional abilities Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans Provide training in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and mobility to promote independence Recommend and instruct patients on the use of adaptive equipment Educate patients, caregivers, and families on therapeutic strategies and home safety Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical record (EMR) documentation and progress reports Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and quality assurance standards Participate in continuing education, workshops, and professional development activities Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program Completion of Level I and Level II supervised fieldwork Current NBCOT certification Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of New Mexico Current BLS/CPR certification Minimum of 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience Acute care experience preferred (ICU, trauma, or neurological units) Strong knowledge of adaptive equipment, splints, lifts, and mobility training Experience with EMR systems preferred Preferred Skills & Competencies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong critical thinking and clinical problem-solving abilities Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care Strong organizational and time management skills Solid understanding of anatomy, psychology, and therapeutic interventions For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
