Virtual Occupational Therapist - NM

Category Schools - OT - Telehealth Job Type Contract This opportunity is for a skilled Occupational Therapist with experience in both telehealth and school-based settings, located in Carlsbad, NM. The position involves providing therapeutic services to students within an educational environment through both in-person and remote sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify student needs Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student goals Deliver occupational therapy services via telehealth platforms and onsite in the school Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions

Qualifications:

Valid Occupational Therapy license with credentials suitable for practice in New Mexico Experience providing occupational therapy in school settings Competency and comfort delivering services through telehealth Strong communication skills for working with students, families, and school personnel Ability to adapt therapy techniques for remote and in-person delivery Understanding of educational laws and therapy guidelines within schools
