Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students by bringing your expertise in occupational therapy to a collaborative school environment. This full-time, contract opportunity is available for the upcoming academic year, spanning from early August through late May. By working onsite in a welcoming school setting, you'll have the chance to positively impact students' learning and development, providing support to those who need it most.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist Experience supporting children or adolescents in educational environments, ideally within schools Familiarity with IEP processes, goal-setting, and therapeutic documentation Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and administrators Ability to adapt to diverse caseloads and individual student needs
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and district policies Conduct assessments, design individualized treatment plans, and track progress Collaborate regularly with classroom teachers, special education teams, and family members Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings and documentation Provide consultation and professional recommendations for classroom adaptations and student-specific interventions Support a positive, inclusive school culture through advocacy and guided best practices
