Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Key Qualifications:
Current NM state (NMRLD) Occupational Therapy license required by the start date NMPED licensure required (can be in pending status at time of hire) Background in pediatric, school-based, or clinical OT settings preferred Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families Adaptability to address a variety of student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions to students according to their individualized education plans (IEPs) Manage reasonable caseloads with professional support and resources Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP documentation Adjust therapy approaches to suit students' developmental levels—caseload age preferences may be discussed and accommodated during interviews Foster a positive, solutions-focused environment for students' growth
