Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Occupational Therapist interested in supporting students in a school setting. Located in Espanola, NM, this contract role offers the flexibility of full or part-time hours, working five days a week. The position involves managing a caseload of 34 K-8 students, providing specialized occupational therapy services to help each student achieve their educational and developmental goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through eighth grade. Develop and implement therapy plans based on assessments and student needs. Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports. Communicate effectively with school staff and families regarding therapy goals and achievements.

Qualifications and Experience:

Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) credential required. Experience working in school settings preferred. Ability to manage a caseload of up to 34 students. Willingness to work full or part-time, five days per week. Open to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) candidates for consideration.
