Job Description

Category Schools - OT - Telehealth Job Type Contract Two Occupational Therapists are needed to support student health and development during the 2026-2027 school year in Hobbs, NM. This full-time, contract position involves providing specialized occupational therapy services within a school setting, focusing on telehealth, home health, and healthcare environments.
Responsibilities include:
Delivering occupational therapy assessments and interventions to students with diverse needs Collaborating with educators and families to develop personalized treatment plans Utilizing telehealth platforms to provide remote therapy sessions as needed Conducting home health visits to ensure continuity of care Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports according to school guidelines Participating in team meetings and contributing to individualized education program (IEP) development
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapy license with credentials suitable for school-based practice Experience providing occupational therapy services in school, telehealth, home health, or healthcare settings Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, families, and school personnel Ability to manage a full-time caseload and adhere to school schedules Knowledge of pediatric developmental disorders and therapeutic techniques Flexibility to adapt services between telehealth, home, and school environments as required This position offers the opportunity to impact student success through comprehensive support across multiple occupational therapy domains. Available full-time during the academic year under a contract agreement.
