Job Description

American Medical Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated, independent Occupational Therapist (OT) for an exciting opportunity during the 2026-2027 school year! Join a supportive team serving students in Lovington, New Mexico, and make a meaningful impact by helping young learners improve their fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily functional independence within the school environment.

Full-Time (Standard school hours)
Contract Length:
2026-2027 school year
Hourly Rate:
$55/hour - weekly pay!
Requirements Licensure:
Active Occupational Therapist license issued by the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department (Board of Occupational Therapy) or eligible to obtain. NBCOT certification required.
Education:
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program.
Experience:
Previous school-based experience conducting fine motor/sensory assessments, developing IEP goals, and managing a pediatric caseload is highly preferred.
