Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a dynamic contract opportunity focused on supporting the growth and success of students in a welcoming district east of Albuquerque. This opening is ideal for dedicated Occupational Therapists ready to make a meaningful difference in a collaborative, supportive environment. Required Skills & Qualities:
Current Occupational Therapist license for New Mexico and active or in-process PED documentation Experience in school-based settings, particularly with elementary and high school student populations Strong organizational and communication abilities Willingness to provide documentation of move-in dates and licensure progress as needed Flexible and collaborative approach to working with teams and students of varying needs, including intensive cases
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy services to students at two elementary campuses and one nearby high school Manage a diverse caseload: 19 students at one elementary, 15 at another, and 2 with intensive needs at the high school Collaborate with staff, teachers, and families to create functional, student-focused goals Maintain required paperwork and comply with district and state documentation standards Flex schedules as needed to serve multiple sites efficiently; high school is within easy walking distance from elementary sites
