Job Description

Category Therapy - Skilled - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding part-time opportunity supporting students' growth and independence for the upcoming school year. An experienced Occupational Therapist is needed to deliver meaningful therapy services to a diverse caseload, working across five school sites near Rociada, NM. This contract position runs from August 6, 2026, through May 27, 2027, and is perfect for professionals seeking flexible, impactful school-based work. You will provide onsite occupational therapy services, approximately 20 hours per week (.4 FTE), collaborating with dedicated educators and families to enhance student outcomes. The position is focused on fostering students' ability to access and thrive within educational settings, requiring a blend of clinical skill, teamwork, and adaptability.
Desired Qualifications:
Currently licensed as an Occupational Therapist in New Mexico Experience in school settings or pediatrics preferred Excellent organizational and time management skills Effective communicator with school staff, students, and families
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct occupational therapy aligned with IEP goals Complete evaluations, conduct ongoing therapy, and monitor progress Accurately maintain documentation and student records Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and caregivers Help students develop skills to participate fully in school environments Travel between assigned school sites as needed This is a dynamic role where your expertise truly makes a difference in students' daily lives.
