Job Description

Category Therapy - Skilled - OT Job Type Contract Make a positive impact on students' lives in a dynamic educational environment by applying your skills as a School Occupational Therapist. This part-time contract position is perfect for an experienced and passionate therapist looking to make a difference during the 2026-2027 school year.
Assignment Details:
Contract assignment beginning August 6, 2026 and ending May 27, 2027 Approximately 20 hours weekly, supporting a caseload of about .4 FTE across five local school sites Onsite services only, focusing on school-based therapy and supporting student needs
What You'll Do:
Deliver occupational therapy aligned with student IEP goals and educational objectives Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop intervention plans, and monitor student progress Maintain thorough and compliant therapy documentation and session notes Collaborate closely with teachers, special education teams, and families to support holistic student development Help students access both educational content and functional aspects of their school environments
What We're Looking For:
Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of New Mexico Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is an asset Strong organizational skills and a knack for effective communication, both written and verbal Ability to adapt and work across multiple sites while staying detail-oriented and focused on student outcomes If you thrive in collaborative, student-centered environments and are ready to play an essential role in students' educational journeys, this is your chance to shine.
